Prologue (Statistically Insignificant)

It’s calculated and highly criticized.
It could happen once in a billion times,
but improbable is not impossible.
It won’t stop, it will never stop.

11th Hour (Part I) – Vision

This is bizarre.
Try not to blink.
Who do you think you are?
You don’t know what to think do you?
Somehow I’m not surprised you’re using their eyes.
They tell you what to see.
They tell you your beliefs for you,
so I don’t have anything nice to say.
But I’ll say it anyway.

Before the Sun

We lock people up in our minds
and spend the rest of our lives
searching for the key.
So who’s the real prisoner?

Hold my hand and we’ll sleep,
we’ll share a dream.
Before the sun comes up we can do anything,
but you’ll wake up alone.

Can’t you see my enemy is time?

Hold my hand and we’ll sleep.
We can do anything!
But you’ll wake up alone.
(My enemy is time.)

Thoughts In Any Way

What have I done?
I have to stop and think
‘cause this changes everything!
Say goodbye tonight!
You said, “You’re making my soul hard and numb.
Without me will you even breathe the same?”
This anger is so strange and so unique
it’s making me want to say goodbye!

Rest this beating chest of mine.
This chapter’s over in our lives.
And it breaks my heart to see you this way,
but I’ll never see you again.
You’ve left me just one option.

“You bring me down,” “tear my insides,” and “bleed me dry.”
Those were your words but I’m singing them now.
Say goodbye tonight, goodnight!
“You tear me from the inside,” you said. “You bring me down each day.”
So leave me here with all my insights or thoughts in any way.
‘Cause I don’t want to be dry,
and I don’t want to be less.
I am fighting off my demons along with all the rest.

So say goodbye.
Rest this beating chest of mine.
This chapter’s over in our lives.
And it breaks my heart to see you this way,
but I’ll never see you again.
You’ve left me with just one option.

(Say goodbye!)

What I’m Here For

Lying here contemplating my fate
as I see familiar faces crying
and telling me how it should be or how they were taught.
Don’t waste your breath on me.
Can’t you see my tank is empty?

I knew the arrows were all pointed down,
but I bet my life so I’ll fall to the ground for it.
I can’t foresee what will happen to me.
Are you trying to get to me? Why can’t you forget me?

Once before thinking of all the things I have done and haven’t done.
As I stand up here thinking of all the things I would do…
I’d do to you!

I knew the arrows were all pointed down,
but I bet my life so I’ll fall to the ground for it!
I can’t foresee what will happen to me.
Are you trying to get to me? Why can’t you forget me?

Believing there’s a greater plan for all our souls
is a fundamental flaw in our lives, so I rise.
I’ll vandalize the walls from the ceiling and to the floor
so they’ll know exactly what I was standing here for.

I know what I am here for.
My note on the door said, “I…”
At the roof of the building said, “I…”
My note on the door at the roof of the building said,
“I wanted you to know you cannot escape from this one.”

Those of faith can preach their gates.
Noone chooses fate.
Clarity is found in this state.
Death of a life. Birth of a memory.

As I rise.
You’re trying to get to me, why can’t you forget me?
As I write what I’m here for.

Falling For You

Stars look so much bigger when you’re standing among them.
I’m gonna need something more than a pinch to wake up from this bad dream.
Look up into the sky and try, can you find me?
One look down is a big mistake but I know it is time to fly!

I’m searching up here for anything telling me I can come home again,
but I don’t think that I will find it!

Wind scribbles my intentions making words illegible
as I try to explain my actions with words that were once untold.
I know it’s one step too far, it’s one step to erase my mind,
but you didn’t make me jump, you just made me start my climb!

I’m searching up here for anything telling me I can come home again,
but I don’t think that I will find it!

Gravity has been generous, lending me time to write this down for you.
I’m falling for you!
And I’ll have to apologize for ending this note so abruptly.
Most sincerely, the man lying on the ground.

My foot pushed a pebble off.
I watched it mimic fate and I got weary,
but couldn’t turn around, it was much too late for that.
See I was once the same as you, life’s lessons pulled me down.
So there is some clarity, and you now know what’s been in my head!

I’m searching up here for anything telling me I can come home again,
but I don’t think that I will find it!
I don’t have time to write everything, so these are my few words.
When you get here I’ll meet you on the ground,
I’ll be waiting for you there.

Gravity has been generous, lending me time to write this down for you.
I’m falling for you!
And I’ll have to apologize for ending this note so abruptly.
Most sincerely, the man lying on the ground.
I’ll be waiting for you there!

This One Isn’t Over

You said it was over
but I don’t think so.
It’s not over until I say so.

“I want to cut off your nose right from your face
so you can’t shove it in mine!
I want to take the wind from your lungs,
and the breath from your mouth
so you’d shut the fuck up and leave me alone!”

Don’t you ever learn?

Cut off your nose right from your face
so you can’t shove it in mine!
I want to take the wind from your lungs,
and the breath from your mouth
so you’d know it’s not over.
It’s over and over again!

Don’t you ever learn?

Point of Reference

[Instrumental]

Untitled Two

Let the bough/bow break.
Watch it leak.
I don’t see much to save.
Watch it crumble,
then you can see how much “I’m sorry” means to me.

I’m rid of you.
The strongest survive,
and the flood will bring you down.
And you’re rid of me,
but I’m tucked away as a vivid nightmare!

Will you head for the buoys for your life,
or wait for the current to subside?
What’s worth your whole life?

I can’t get up baby but it’s far from over.
It’s a setup that’s splitting us apart,
and yet I am having trouble to breathe.
Baby, this is far from over.
It’s a setup!
The stopping of my heart is splitting us apart.

And I’m rid of you.
The strongest survive,
and the flood will bring you down.
And you’re rid of me,
but I’m tucked away as a livid nightmare!

I can’t get up baby but it’s far from over.
It’s a setup that’s splitting us apart,
and yet I am having trouble to breathe.
Baby, this is far from over.
It’s a setup that’s stopping of my heart,
it’s splitting us apart.

I’m rid of you and you’re rid of me.
It’s splitting us apart.

Postscript

I can see you.
There’s so much left to be said
now that I’m in your head.
I won’t be quieted until you’re finally…

And now I just want you to know that I thought that you were perfect in my mind.
You fell down, if you just tried to get back up you’d see it wasn’t that bad.
Life was not that bad with me.
(I will bring you down with me.)

I can see you!
Stars stand still as the sirens sound their screaming.
Soon you’ll see that they will come for you.

It’s not my life that I’m leaving behind, forgot to mention that falling down.
And I know what you’re thinking, “the bigger they are the harder they fall down.”
So I will lead you to the edge and I will bring you down.
I will bring you down with me!
(And now I just want you to know that I thought that you were perfect in my mind.
You fell down, if you just tried to get back up you’d see it wasn’t that bad.
Life was not that bad with me!)

You fell down. You get back up.
You fell down but you just gave up!

You fell down, if you just tried to get back up you’d see it wasn’t that bad.
Life was not that bad with me!
(So I will lead you to the edge and I will bring you down.
I will bring you down with me!)

The Grenadier’s Suite I – You Are Not Alone

You are not alone!

You’re just a footnote in this story.
And I… I can do this forever!
So climb up to the sky
then close your eyes baby, it’s just you and I!
You, you and your machine.

I only want to say,
“you are not forgiven!”

They won’t believe you of me here.
You can’t live forever!
Can’t you feel the energy?
Can’t you see the irony?
Two brought together by what’s tearing them apart!

In my eyes, in my heart, in my being
I only wanted to be with you!
You are not alone!
(Can’t you feel the energy, can’t you see the irony?)
Remember that I am here with you.
(Two brought together by what’s tearing them apart.)

I’m your eyes.
I’m your heart.
I’m your thoughts.
Come on and follow me,
‘cause although you know, I know you can fall for me too!
I can’t make you jump but I can lead you to the ground.

The Grenadier’s Suite II – Victim of Myself

Open up the window.
Do you hear the sirens?
Do you hear them screaming your name?
‘Cause they’re here.
Open up the window.
Do you hear the sirens?
Do you hear me screaming your name?
‘Cause I’m here.
Open up the window.
Do you hear me screaming your name?
‘Cause I’m here to justify your fear!

Now you lose.
Lose your sight,
and my thoughts in your mind
and in your life, you lose.
Lose your heart,
and my thoughts in your mind
and end your life.
You lose!
Lose your mind!
They will find you.
They will find you!

The Grenadier’s Suite III – 11th Hour (Part II) – Visionary

Open up the window.
Is it cold or just in your mind?
All the footsteps before you into the sky,
you already they’re mine.
(Here we go, countdown, the clock ticks on.
Twisted vision, when you see it you will fall.)
So take my hand and let the sun swallow us whole.

I don’t know what got into you and I,
but we’re beyond trying to fix it.
You think you made me part of you
but I’ve been here the whole time!
(Here we go, countdown, the clock ticks on.
Twisted vision, when you see it you will fall.)
So take my hand and let the sun swallow us whole.

All my thoughts in your mind.
End your life!

Time is running out they say,
so say goodbye.
I’m your dream.
Forsaken by…
You’re everything…
So say goodbye.
I’m your dream.
Forsaken by…
You meant everything to me!

We are dreams awakened.
We are dreams awakening!
To end your life.

Can’t you see what I’m here for?
Can’t you see our enemy is time?
It’s time!
But improbable is not impossible.
Take my hand and let the sun swallow us whole!
It’s not impossible!

Epilogue (Best Laid Plans)

I am the best laid plans.
And so, I am the weight of many thousand boulders
that clearly rests upon your shoulders.

So pray my prey, it won’t help you.
You haven’t a hope.
You’ve cost too many lives–
Open up your eyes you’ve fallen from your rope.
You’re my tightrope torment on your final descent.
Think of me. Think of me, baby.

Close your eyes again– you’ll see me.
I am gravity
when you come counting down.
Four. Three. Two. One.

I’m your subconscious.
There’s nothing you can do!
I cannot see, no I don’t know, although I closed my eyes I know that I saw you.
(I don’t understand how I saw you!)
With a hundred eyes.
Goodbye.
(Goodbye.)

This is bizarre.
Try not to blink.
Who do you think you are?
You don’t know what to think do you?
I’m not surprised you’re using their eyes.
They tell you what to see.
They tell you your beliefs for you!
